Each year around Thanksgiving, the President of the United States grants a turkey a presidential pardon (who, rumor has it, goes on to lead the Thanksgiving Day parade at Disneyland).
For the rest of us interested in "pardoning" a turkey from our Thanksgiving tables, there are plenty of enticing vegetarian main courses to try.
