Customer Service or Customer WOW!


It is amazing how a word can change the way people think and act. If you think about good Customer Service, what comes to mind? Probably some different experiences where you feel that people and companies have taken good care of you. But when you think about the words Customer WOW! -- what comes to mind? All of a sudden, the experiences you have had or given are in a completely different class, aren't they?

IWhat if everybody at your company was thinking about delivering Customer WOW! instead of Customer Service? Do you think the level of service would be different? Do you think the possibilities of more customer referrals would increase? You bet it would!

So why is that shift in your mindset really important? Let´s start with thinking about what you love to do the most. Do you have a hobby that you really enjoy? Do you like to travel? Do you like to wear nice clothes? Is it important to provide for your family? Is living in a nice home and driving a safe car a high priority?

Guess who is paying for all of those things. YOUR CUSTOMERS! Your paycheck may have your company logo on it, but every single dime you get is coming from your customers. Your lifestyle depends on how well you treat them.

Every customer wants so feel special and important. And when they feel this way -- price become less of an issue. People are happy to pay extra to feel special. Just look at luxury hotels -- they exist to make people feel good; and they can charge a very high price for it.

Behind every customer there are hundreds more, if you take care of them. They love to talk and brag about you if you give them a reason. How many reasons do you give them?

WOW! them when you greet them.
WOW! them when you meet them.
WOW! them when they do business with you.
WOW! them after they've done business with you.
WOW! them when they refer new business to you.

And WOW! them in between, because they are worth more WOW!s than you can ever give them.
