Are You Using Twitter Search?
One of the most useful parts of Twitter is its search function, because it allows you to narrow down tweets from all over Web into just one particular subject in real time. If you want to see what all Twitter users are saying about a particular topic, access the main search function either by going to the main page or by entering a keyword phrase into the search box.
Once you've typed in a keyword, the results page will look like your main Twitter stream, with tweets organized in chronological order, except that they'll all be related to the keyword phrase you entered. Also, these results won't just be limited to the tweets made by people you're following, as is the case with your main tweetstream.
